I can pay to adopt a child - lots of kids with no homes, shitty foster parents, etc, and I can pay to have someone else help me care for it. You're basically doing the same thing if you get married, you just pay in time and effort you aren't compensated for. Everyone talks about emotions but i have yet to be emotionally compensated, feel any more complete or better or that the other person even gives a little bit of a shit, so i don't really see the point. Attempting to just find a woman to even take on a date - not to mention the effort involved in that, the complete lack of reciprocity, return - and that's not even including sex, touch, any physicality at all, just the fact that i am basically spending an hour straight simping for someone who is probably just doing it for free dinner and drinks - completely worthless endeavor for a man in today's age. Sure, women have all sorts of dumb girl issues, but half of that they cause themselves and then they take it out on me. It's not like it's any easier with men, seeing as you run the risk of rape accusations, unwanted pregnancy, false fatherhood, etc. much easier for them to drag your name through the mud in a way that ruins your life forever - even if nothing ever comes of it - than it is for you to punch them or whatever it is they're scared of.
