Yeah, that's a definite positive, I do admit to having some bad experiences with some friends and family members snooping around my life details and misunderstanding me.

Hmm... well, of course, you don't have to lend a cent to that one friend who always borrows chump change from everyone yet claims it should be a big deal because they'll just say "it's just $5, jeez, you're so selfish!!".
