if you say so, but there is no other way except for getting a more powerful graphics card.
personally I think 1440p looks fine on 4k screens *most of the time
framerate is what allows for greater immersion for me.
besides, it's Skyrim. even with HD textures etc it still looks a bit dated, still charming, but definitely not the best textures...
I would try it *at least once and see how it suits you. otherwise you can't complain if you keep getting c4rashes or whatever. you know the cause, so fix it, right?
