>>13147135>>330588541yeah I do (mind), I like being at least a little bit anonymous on this rebel basket weaving forum.
for some info:
I do high fat low carb primal. not super strict but I notice if I stray for more than a few days.
Tend to eat a big meal only once or sometimes twice a day, again, not a strict thing, just dont get hungry in the gaps like I used to when I ran off carbs so its more convenient that way. Lots of pastured meats, free range bacon and eggs, coloured/green vegetables, butter, sourcream, animal fats, olive oil, macadamias, dark chocolate, berries, some fruit, plus whatever else I feel like occasionally.
Same very healthy weight now as in my late teens as a competitive swimmer/gym/cyclist.
less exercise needed to maintain body fat/muscle than then, though bulking up huge is tricky without carbs so if I wanted to go huge I'd experiment with more high carb days.
Eating one meal a day is a form of intermittent fasting which promotes apoptosis and metabolic boosts, and keeps you young. Very Occasionally do a 2 day fast.
My knees were fucked in my late 20s when I started: no issues since
My back was fucked from mid to late 20s, put it out after doing a thesis in a cold room on a crappy chair 16 hours a day, that healed after changing diets.
My whole family on both sides wears glasses from late teens, I have better than normal 20:10 vision.
All my male relatives went bald in late 20s to 30s, I have a full head of hair.
People guess my age as 20 (occasionally) to mid-late twenties (usually) and almost never past 30, and are shocked when I tell them.
I go gym occasionally, deadlifts, squats, curls, bench press plus random whatever, train parkour sometimes, do hill sprints once a week or so, and otherwise just do whatever, but can still hike up mountains or snowboard all day on no food etc when I want to. Running on fat has big advantages.
I dont know if all those things came from the diet and lifestyle, but I know at least some did.
