I'm pretty chubby. I've been exercising at the gym every weekday for the last 6 weeks, and haven't been seeing any notable results. I don't really have a concrete game plan or set routine, no real understand of the optimal way to achieve my goals. I'm not doing "a lot" of weight, because I'm fairly weak relative to my size and people's assumptions about my strength like I said, but I'm generally doing 4 sets of 8 reps per exercise with a weight level where I'm becoming fatigued at the end of the exercise. Whenever I attempt transitioning to higher weight I typically do 3 sets of 6 reps and then eventually that turns into 4 sets of 8 again. Then I round every workout out with 15 minutes of some HIIT cardio.

I don't have a friend or spotter so I can't really use the larger free weight exercises like a bench press. I've been doing fully reclining dumbell chest presses, standing dumbell overhead presses, goblet squats and Romanian deadlifts.

Do you guys think Leafs and Burgers are so fucking fat because the majority of us know fucking nothing about what we really need to be doing in terms of our health? Is it ignorance rather than being fat dumb slobs? I remember I went out with a friend and he estimated a 750 cal milkshake had 180 calories in it tops.
