I got the rona back in Dec 2020. I understand lots of people only experience mild symptoms but I've always been in relative good health and my illness was fucking hellish and I'm STILL not sure if I'm back to 100% or if my lungs are forever damaged. It seems like there's something missing ever since. My brother also got it, but all he felt was a mild cold. Weird.

I do think that if more of us get vaccinated, we can finally put an end to these outbreaks flaring up. I seriously don't understand why we all can't get behind the idea.

Are there risks, known and unknown, of getting vaccinated? Yes.
Is all the consequences of getting the vaccine understood? No.
Is there any real argument that suffering through symptomatic covid is preferable to the known negative reactions to a vaccine? Fuck no.
Will these outbreaks keep occurring and keep wrecking the economy as long as a huge portion of the population is obstinately anti-vaccine for retarded political reasons? Yes. If you're a part of this group, you're a part of the problem.

611k people died from covid in the us while only roughly 6k people died after a vaccination (possibly not related to the vaccine itself). So I would say there is a much bigger chance of dying of covid then because of the vaccine

After the first shot the muscle where they injected it was sore for a few days, but nevertheless still had a good workout the next day after the shot (OHP day). After the second shot I had the same kind of soreness, but much much less, and again no inhibitions to working out the next day (OHP day again). No other side effects to note. just my 2 cents

I got vaxxed today with Pfizer and I regret it.
Just three effects so far:
Arm starting to get sore 10 hours later.
Small, burning, stinging-feeling when you touch it mark on right hand. Showed up within 90 minutes of injection but sensation has subsided.
The magnet trick is weak but it works. It works consistently. I've attempted replicating it with my other arm to no avail. I tried with a smaller magnet to eliminate the sweat-sticky occlusion effect and haven't gotten it to stick. I wonder if whatever is diffuse in my arm now and if that could be why.
I'm thinking back to all the times I've been warned, and I've been told I've been warned. I'm warning you now.
I don't trust them. I went in and my aspie ass said to the person administering it that "I don't trust these fuckers." And yet I still got it.
The push is to vaccinate EVERYONE, including those with established immunity from previous infection.
The lockdowns, the constant fear mongering, the "stay inside" when it's not really transmissible outside while staying inside hurts your health with lack of sunlight and sedentary lifestyle.
I'm going to limit my exposure. I'm not going to get it a second time.

Here's the thing, I trust myself and my immune system. I'm a young healthy guy, I rarely if ever get sick, and when I do I get very mild symptoms and fight off the cold within a few days. I'm not worried about getting Covid at all. I am really worried that I could be one of the people who gets unlucky and gets bad side-effects from the vaccine. I don't want to decide to take the risk, and then get horrible side-effects and regret it. I'm going to stick to not getting vaccinated. People confuse the adenovirus tech used in AstraZeneca and J&J which is new to vaccines as being new in general. It's not, it's been used in gene therapy since like the 80s, we know that longterm it's fine.
The mRNA ones are legitimately new technology but their mechanism is very similar to the above so there's no pathways anyone sees being an issue.
NovaVax is a ye olde method which just gives you the proteins that look like virus directly instead of using your cells as the factory.
Only the Chinese ones use the dead/modified virus methods which I doubt you have access to.

tl;dr if you're scared of the new you can skip the mRNA ones (pfizer & moderna), if you don't trust something old used in a new way you can skip the adenovirus ones (astrazeneca & J&J) and just grab the NovaVax (it's free extra protein bro).

Just because you are "healthy" doesnt mean you are immune.
Get vaccinated, because even if you manage to get over the infection, chances are you will have complications afterwards (as with most viral infection) and will cost you far more than if you had protected yourself prior. No it doesn't protect you 100% but it absolutely decreases the damage the virus does by a massive amount.
full disclosure i havent gotten one myself, but thats because im basically a NEET and have essentially no risk of Covid infection, so the very very slight chance of vaccine side effect is not worth it (yet), will wait for more long term effects if any to make themselves known. But the retard tier logic of people campaigning against them is so stupid

Its more than that anon. Its the fact that this vaccine, which would never have made it through regular trials, is now being mandated as a condition to restore the basic liberties that the government (not the virus) took from you. If this were the black plague 2.0 I could understand the hysteria, but unless you're old or obese Covid is literally less dangerous than the seasonal flu. Moreover, now that the vaxx, however effective it is, is available, the question ought to be one of individual risk assessment. There is literally no rational basis for mandating this for anyone who doesn't want it. If you're still allowing international travel and if the 3rd world is still largely unvaxxed (and that doesnt seem likely to change), then Covid WILL become endemic, there will be more variants, and we will simply have to learn to live with the virus like we've done so many others. The question is how many freedoms you're willing to sacrifice to fear porn until we get there.
