My irl fren told me it's a good thing I quit drinking, /bantoids/ tell me it's a good thing, but my mum actively discourages me. She says things like "You're not going tee total forever are you? You can't just give up forever, everyone drinks, dont be boring". She binge drinks weekly herself and the thought of me becoming fully sober seems to terrify her. I told her I wanna detox my liver and she just replies with "Who wants to live until you're a hundred anyway". I can't be doing with her like this anons.
