Governments here get as low as 30, 20, 15% of popular consent but there is no way to have them to fuck off. They will stay where they are until the5 years of their mandate are over or until something happens in the Parliament and in both cases you and your opinions had zero influence on that.
one could say that "public opinion" has some influence on that kind of stuff but the reality is that "public opinion" means the few dozens of journalists who work for the most important newspapers and TVs, not me or you, and if they were even remotely equivalent left wing parties would always get the vast majority of votes in all western countries, which doesn't necessarily happen.
