I'm not a fan of 90% of extra-biblical Christian/Church dogma which usually directly contradicts the Bible. Most who read the Bible do not understand it. Christ made this clear over and over and over. "these things will make sense to some but not to others", "do not cast pearls before swine", "many are called, few are chosen", "straight and narrow is the path to heaven".
The fundamental underlying spiritual truths taught by Christ are not incompatible with what is taught as the Shakti Yoga path (path of faith and devotion to God) as taught in Sanatana Dharma, ESPECIALLY as it is clarified and described by Krishna in the Bhagvad Gita. I firmly believe Christ is another avatar of God just like Krishna was. They thought the same gospel of salvation through the grace of God given freely to those with true faith and DEVOTION.
Dont like Christianity? Good. Read the Bible yourself and you'll hate it even more when you realize most Christians do not follow the Bible whatsoever. They take the lords name in vain, I.E. they larp as Christians. Read the Gita then read the Bible and you might understand.
If neither make sense at all, stop and first read the holographic universe by Michael Talbot. Then read the Arcane Teachings by W.W. Atkinson (pen name) , then read C.J. Jung's Man and His Symbols. From here you will now be able to understand the fundamental spiritual concepts presented in religious scripture from a purely rational and logical perspective, which will eventually give way to faith, and you will realize Christ really was the truth all long. This approach took me seven years. It can be done in one year or less if you try harder than I did.
Humble yourself and seek God with honest and sincere intention and God WILL reveal himself to you in time.
