>>13242082>OhakovsklyThat one isnt bad yet its very generic but yeah there's different types, many different ones. Theres sour ones (i hate them), theres sweeter ones, etc etc etc. I personally don't like Ochakovsky, its a little on the bland side. It's also really easy to make yourself at home, I make 5 liter batches and bottle them up into some resealable beer bottles I have. Takes like an hour, a day for it to be drinkable and if you hold it longer (in bottles) it becomes stronger and can start fermenting and alcoholizing.
There's definitely sweet kvass though, but its not like what you'd expect if you're accustomed to Jarritos.
Again, if you're speaking about Russian food its different than say speaking about Serbian food (which is very grill-heavy, and really good)
Whered you try all this? Keep in mind a lot of Russian food has become sovietized due to soviet advances in economy resulting in downgraded produce and meme shit like pickles, the culinary culture is slowly being restored though.
If you buy stuff from the "Russian" stores in US its not going to be very good.
