How do we believe that we "went to the moon" and got people BACK from the moon over 60 years ago with junk technology, and now a days can barley get into space safely when our technology (especially materials science) is infinitely more advanced?
We cannot seem to figure out how to get past the Van Allen Radiation belt, which would require 5 feet of lead around an astronaut to protect him from dying.
The issue is that we discovered these Van Allen Radiation belts were super deadly AFTER we had already gotten to the moon, and gotten back, in what looks like a cardboard box that homeless people under the highway sleep in.
think about it for a second. Why hasn't China or Russia gone to the moon yet? Just because America "did it" first doesn't mean the Russians or Chinese wouldn't be extremely proud of their own space programs for "going to the moon". You don't think Russia or China could accomplish today, what America did in the 1960s, technology wise?
I mean the cost of going to the moon in 2021 should be significantly cheaper and easier to do because we have computers? And other ultra advanced technology that didn't exist in 1960?
Russia but specifically China spends hundreds of billions on propaganda... Landing some Chinese nationals on the moon wouldn't be spectacular propaganda?
The truth is that they can't do it. Space is far too dangerous and landing a human on the moon is impossible, even with modern technology.
