I think the series tried to not be understandable. Then they tried to take credit for it and make themselves seem in control.
I think they like the idea they are good and other stuff is evil/horror eg christianity their fucked up imagination.
Shinji was too annoying to make the series worth a damn. Adam was appreciable.
No I don't approve of some jap fuck experimenting on someone growing them and controlling them, baiting an apocalypse with their hero compromised. Going down to rescue him as he fights them loyal to the garden that isn't to him.
I don't think Ikari wanted to be with his wife I think he wanted to kill what most would call god, freeing her from such. His and with him. Too proud to use help in having her saved. To proud to accnowledge his capacity to save and restore her was inadequate.
I think she was given to him as an all in last ditch effort to stop him which depleted such and made it venreble, doomed. Doing so because such was decent.
But that's naive. Her saved like her joined with such. And she killed him for him to be with her.
Something like that. Japs pretty evil sometimes. Students. Like to think they are thoughtful and complex making horror.
It's them failing to care and excusing their excuses. So solly. Bowing. No balls and no responsability. Not going to go down with anything they bring out.
Irony that they are the bad god of their story, not what they depict.
They give up. Run out of ideas or faith they can go on without it becoming formula, boring and lessened with every sunsequent contribution.
So they kill it, horrifically, like it was someone else. And innocently assert that everything ends badly, probably because they lost the war. Like they are the gokd guys and the horror is the other side they fought instead of would have set as foundation for the future.
