>>13324524I really loved this show. The message at the heart is brutal: if all this work gets you is a black cloud following you every moment of every day, what is your life for? And it doesn't try to answer it. Just little ideas, memories, maybe something you can work with. And it ends with just trying to carry on and do the best you can to get by. I don't know if I can get there. The protagonist was a good boy who did what good boys do and is still reasonably young, early 30's, and the crushing weight of putting society always ahead of his own needs. I'd have to backtrack and try to imagine myself as a good boy before I could even reach the same crisis. This life is fucking brutal, isn't it?
