>>13335636>>13335640basically Moses de Leon wrote the Zohar in Spain in the 13th century, which is the basis of Kabbalah and is the encoded text written in Aramaic that sounds completely schizophrenic.
He claimed to have been writing based off the original work of Shimon bar Yoshai, a Jew that allegedly had these revelations in a cave on the outskirts of Jerusalem literally as Julius Alexander was besieging this plateau where all the remnants of the Jews were hiding out after Titus sacked and destroyed the Second Temple in 70 A.D. If you are familiar with the play-by-play of the First Roman-Jewish War you know what I'm talking about. But that is another story.
Anyway this Shimon bar Yoshai allegedly is the originator of Kabbalah, and while Moses de Leon claimed to have been simply transcribing his work, there are no copies or evidence of this previous older text. After Moses' death his wife said that he made up this lie so that his radical new ideas would be more easily accepted, if they believed he was using an older source.
The Zohar was rejected by Orthodox Judaism for a long time but was kept alive by the Hasids and in the past century or two it has gone mainstream, and all Jews hold Kabbalah now. Basically what it is, is a line by line esoteric interpretation of the Torah. From Genesis to Deuteronomy, the Zohar is a commentary on literally ever single passage. A completely a rewritten copy of the Torah imbibed with new, deeper meaning.
The ordering of the holiest books of Judaism are as follows:
Torah
Talmud
Zohar
Its a common saying among Jews that the Torah is for old women and children. Any serious Jewish scholar deals in the Talmud and the Zohar. Any kike telling you that they have the same holy book as the OT bible is lying to you, they have completely rewritten its contents and have a completely different understanding of the Torah's contents through the Zohar and Kabbalah.
