Had to kill 5 of these swallow younglings at work today. We had some stuff moved in from another part of the city and among the stuff I found abandoned nest (the stuff had been outside strorage)

The birds were quite grown up but could not fly, the tried to escape me but I crushed 2 under my feet fast and crushed other in my fist (1-2 second death without necessary suffering or cruelty).

Rest panicked and hid under some shelves rest of day but luckily my coworker was able to kill them later afternoon

Feels bad man. I´m fucking sorry birdies but they had no future in this cruel world
