I am live in Kazakhstan province, and situating here is similar like in most of Russia (except Moscow and Saint Peterburg) and i can say, how lives middle layer is here.
Middle salary is 350$, for housing you will pay about 190$, food cost if you want eat meat sometimes is 116$ and you have ~50$ per month for everything else or to accumulate.
