first i'm going to have to recrunch the numbers for my finances in general, but i'm probably going to have to find something to do until next semester
>>13374044very much so. professor recommended i take a culture class just to fill time since it's strongly recommended to japanese students anyway, but when i pointed out that it'd technically count as an elective for my purposes she agreed that it doesn't seem particularly worth it to spend $900 for the right to work a $15/hr job so i'm basically sol for this semester
i did confirm with her that she'll waive me through for an independent study next semester despite not meeting the requirements though. if i had realized i needed the extra hours she may have hesitantly allowed me to do one this semester, but by the time the paperwork for getting special permission was processed it'd be past the deadline for late registration.
big problem now is i need to find something else to do for the next 4-5 months
