Imagine if there were 1000 doors. You choose one, then the host opens 998 of the remaining doors to reveal 998 goats. There are now two doors to choose from.

Obviously there's a way fucking higher chance that the other door is right, than your door. Same principle here. There is a far greater chance that the door the host avoided opening has the prize. If you do the math it works out. You should switch doors.

Now, if the host didn't deliberately choose to open goat-doors, and instead opened doors at random, then it would be a 50/50
