You cannot get anything like this in the UK, it's all fish and chips and mushy peas. No fresh and fancy desserts, no herbs and spices, no saffron being used, very little seasoning, no mint being used. English idea of seasoning food is drowning it in mayonnaise and ketchup.

They also seem to use all fresh fruit and veg and meat in these countries, for instance juice is squeezed directly out of the fruit in front of you but if you ask for an orange juice in a British market he will pour it from a carton of concentrated processed supermarket shit. Spices and herbs are a must. Food needs flavour.
