>>13432331ur neglecting ur duties already?
eww
>>13432338well it's a form of freelancing, it's just a different model of it. if i were putting out weekly video lessons or translating manga then posting it on patreon behind a paywall that wouldn't be super different from being contracted for private tutoring or translating something specific
the way they put it is they're having issues hiring english speaking software devs because of the language barrier. when i asked what exactly i'd be doing he just asked for my whatsapp to work out the details, but i said i wouldn't give it to him until he answered the question because it seemed pretty straightforward.
if they're being legitimate the best i'd be able to imagine is that people are wary of working with them because they're noticeably ESL so they'd just want me to be an in between for people they're talking with so it seems more professional. that or their english is fine enough in general but when it comes to tech stuff it's very easy for things to get lost in translation so they want me there to just be really patient about picking through their bad english and make sure there isn't any confusion.
like you said though the chances that every single person in a belgian office has english that bad seems a bit low even if there are just 3 or 4 of them
>>13432340fortunately. they show you impressions, clicks, orders made, and cancellations for each individual job you post. can break it down over 1 or 2 weeks as well as 1, 2, 3, or 6 months too
that's all pretty standard for most online platforms these days i think
