why are american social conservatives so stupid?

i'm not talking about the people who just want lower taxes, or want the lockdowns to end.

i'm not talking about companies and other orgs that can bribe politicians to get what they want into law.

i'm talking about the people who really, fully believe in christianity, supposedly, yet don't know what the bible says.

people who are alcoholics but think smoking weed once in a while should put you in jail.

people who hate on femboys and traps.

people who think all carbs are the devil.

people who think the earth was shat out by god 6000 years ago.

people people who think the devil is real.

why? just why do they exist?
