A bit on the humid side, surprisingly safe on the streets, though umbrellas get taken.
As for working there, the work weeks suck, OT isn't a thing, you get paid for your allotted hours. Lots of depressed people.
Capitalism seems to drive everything and it's pretty neat, though it's like $5 for a crepe. (they make good crepes.) Most of the stuff there is on the cheaper side if you want clothing.
