do christians actually believe their religion literally? or is it like a cultural thing?
they don't really believe there is a skyman sitting up there on a golden throne, and when you die he's gonna pass judgment on you and let them into heaven or not, right?
i mean maybe a few schizos do but not the vast majority of christians, right?
it's like a cultural thing. like a "oh yeah i sort of believe in a higher power so i'm just gonna go with the flow and turn a blind all to all of the crazy, obviously untrue stuff" right?
because i can dig that. i can understand that.
but then sometimes i talk to christians or see posts like pic related and i start to see that some christians seriously actually believe this stuff literally. if you believe it literally then IMO you need professional medical help.
