My boyfriend is a Christian. I'm not particularly religious, but I know that the Jews have not been on the best of terms with Christians throughout history.
We've had some talks about it, but we've never really talked deeply about religion. He seems to be okay with this.
I'm not. I'm half Jewish, but I'm also half Muslim. (Not a big fan of organized religion, and not very religious at all). Not to mention, I'm bisexual. I have Jewish relatives on both sides of my family (my mother is 100% Jewish, and she has no idea). I'm pretty proud of my background, but I'm starting to feel really uncomfortable about all this. Am I being too sensitive about my feelings on all this? If I were him, I'm sure I would be offended by all this. He's Christian, I'm Jewish. I'm not sure why it bothers me so much, but it does.
