I woke up every day at 4am, pounded the phones until 11pm every day for almost a year. I told my wife I was going to need her to be a super mom for a bit while I got us out of poverty. Within 2 months of the struggle, I bought our home. Within a year, I paid off the house and started my own mortgage bank. But I remember October of 2017, when we took our kids trick or treating and had to make them costumes out of my old clothes and dollar store face paint. I remember microwaving corn dogs for them in the shit motel while the dea raided the people across the motel complex.
