>There was never a Black civilizatio-

Ancient Nubia was possibly the greatest civilization on the African continent
They built buildings that are still standing to this day before the Americas and most of Asia.

>The region of Nubia was an early cradle of civilization, producing several complex societies that engaged in trade and industry. The city-state of Kerma emerged as the dominant political force between 2450 and 1450 BC, controlling the Nile Valley between the first and fourth cataracts, an area as large as Egypt.
>Due to pressure from Assyrians and Egyptians, Meroë (800 BC – c.350 AD) became the southern capital of the Kingdom of Kush.
>Meroë is mentioned in first-century AD Periplus of the Erythraean Sea: "farther inland, in the country towards the west, there lies a city called Meroe". In fifth-century BC, Greek historian Herodotus described it as "a great city...said to be the mother city of the other Ethiopians."
>Meroë was the base of a flourishing kingdom whose wealth was centered around a strong iron industry and international trade with India and China. Metalworking is believed to have happened in Meroë, possibly through bloomeries and blast furnaces.
>Other important sites were Musawwarat es-Sufra and Naqa. Musawwarat es-Sufra, which is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was constructed in sandstone. Its main features were the Great Enclosure, the Lion Temple of Apedemak, and the Great Reservoir.

Pic related pyramids were built in the 1st century BC
