Thanks to how our bodies work, it's relatively easy to make a woman look like a man, even from close up, if you have all the resources. But it's almost impossible to make a man look like a woman, especially from close up.

Think about it, why would the higher ups want to kill/make infertile the people who are the most ready to obey them? Some 5D chess move which implies manipulating the disobedient into catching corona and dying sounds more plausible to me.
But I don't think any of this was orchestrated. What I do think is that most governments are taking notes about how easy it is to take away people's freedoms through fear. And the results will definitely come in handy in the future. Corona isn't much of a threat but global warming will be once it really becomes irreversible.
