I work as a recruiting contractor (the firm does headhunting) for major corporations in the United States. We are being advised by many clients to find talent that will fill in for individuals who have taken the vaccine. We're not talking a list that has 3 positions on it, we're talking about a list with thousands of positions on it. They are anticipating these people getting very ill in the fall of Q4 to the point they need immediate replacing to maintain productivity. The amount of work involved to find replacements for thousands of people at all levels in the corporations is impossible. If we replace these individuals with someone else who is vaccinated, we are back to square one. We are not allowed to ask about vaccination status during the interview phase. Sure, 2020 proved the country could run on a skeleton crew of employees, but it was because of the amount expected to be vaccinated. Why are these large corporations so worried about the vaccinated and replacing them swiftly?
