I've never had anyone react to me in that way, and on the contrary I'm a rather charismatic presence who has no problems striking up conversations that are delightfully received by complete strangers. Women regularly try to flirt with me, unprovoked, and acquaintances break into obvious joy when hearing of my entertaining escapades.
I don't think internet people getting offended that I found them boring and hysterical, and then proceeding to make unprovoked and baseless personal attacks really has any bearing on me as a person, but that's just how I live my life.
I think you might actually stand to gain something from handling things that way, but you're probably a lost cause.
