You could try to associate multiple causes with character and penis size. You could take a very spiritual route, and say that the Gods or whatever relevant force bestows such gifts upon the pious. You could take a pseudo-physiognomic route and point out that poor physical forms are associated with poor characters. You could point out that people with small penises sometimes develop a complex over it and lash out at others.
Of note, an Italian in the other thread asserted that high testosterone is associated with disposition for rude behaviour, and that high testosterone is associated with larger penises. I have only been able to find evidence to the contrary, so I think those are untrue.
As for the wishful thinking, I would say that it might be, but that the poster in question had an ulterior motive in making their remark.
