Quitting weed - what's the point?

I'll smoke weed every day, usually not until 4-5pm after I'm done with work/gym, but then I'll feel guilty about it mostly because of society or a boomer anon on here so I'll take a long break. Several weeks to several months long breaks.

What I've found is that even after getting over the cravings for weed I'm still sitting around doing next to nothing every night. It's cold outside and getting dark early. I'm too mentally drained from work to start another coding project in my free time. Idk what to do. Then I started calling my non-smoking friends at night to chat with them and figured out they're all sitting in front of their TVs doing absolutely nothing too (they don't live very close so no I can't visit them that often).

What's the point of making others feel guilty about smoking weed and screeching at them to quit? Nobody is doing anything THAT productive at night. Especially not after working 2 jobs all day and lifting heavy weights at lunch.

Should weed smokers feel guilty and quit? Why or why not?
