I need a simple i3 laptop, 4 ram, nothing really special. All retail shops sell them for 100$ more than the ones on Amazon.
I think it has to do with chip shortages, an i3 one here is like 510 euros

just buy a used 4 year old ultrabook(thinkchad, XPS, lattitude)
I got myself a 2,5 year old thinkpad 16gb i7 Vpro Quadro workstation for 670€ used

they offer a one year warranty here in Germany
look for CADworkstations and office laptops
look at seller history, reviews
Avoid cheap, flimsy laptops
avoid gamer shit
small SSD and big HDD is the best low price solution, but its available mainly on 14+ Inch laptops
battery might be dead, so look at possible replacements just in case

literally nothing, it's just a restyling. the only useful thing that they introduced imo is Windows Terminal, that lets you open multiple tabs of CMD/PowerShell, but you can install that on W10 too.
