Then, Rat and Wolf entered into a criminal conspiracy to embezzle funds out of their local bank. They had everything planned out, except for where they would hide their money.
"I know!" said the Rat. "Birds can fly! Let's befriend a bird to help us! He could fly the money to a remote location so law enforcement can never connect it to us!" The Wolf sat up straight and smiled ear to ear. "That sounds like a great idea!"
So the Rat and the Wolf walked around and eventually met the Raven. The Raven eagerly agreed to further the criminal conspiracy, for an even 33% cut of course.
The Rat and the Wolf accepted the offer.
So the Rat, the Wolf, and the Raven embezzled money out of a local bank and became very wealthy. They had managed to siphon over 10 million dollars in 2 years!
Unbeknownst to them, the Federal Bureau of Investigations had been conducting a formal investigation into the bank regarding the missing funds!
One day, the Rat noticed the federales speaking with the branch manager. The Rat became very scared and immediately booked a flight to Australia. Because he was paranoid about government reconnaissance, he did not make any attempt to inform the Wolf or the Raven about what he saw.
The next week, the FBI raided the Wolf and the Raven at their respective châteaux. The Wolf and the Raven were sentenced to 20 years in federal prison with no chance of parole.
To this day, the Rat still remains at large.
He was last seen exiting the Kingsford Smith Airport, but his current location is unknown.
There is a $40,000 USD reward for information leading to the Rat's arrest.
