This thread was made by a right-leaning, inceloid whitexican trying to spread disinfo using the average burger anon's ignorance of spanish. Let's see him BTFO and tear down his faggot shit:
The powerpoint slide and article presented are about a kidnapping case in which a cartel recruiter lured in kids using some mobile game called Free Fire to chat with them. The slide presents how they did it (pretended to be a kid and offered nice things to the victims, presumed particularly vulnerable due to being around 12 years old and playing violent games), the kidnapper's operational profile, and other games that pose a similar target for these recruiters.
The entire point of this presentation was to outline guidelines for parents to teach their kids how to be safe while playing these games and they are as follows:
Don't chat with strangers.
Set time limits on gaming.
Don't use personal e-mail addresses to sign up.
Do not provide personal information.
Do not use voice chat or camera.
Do not share location.
Report aggressive or suspicious accounts.
Use parental controls on devices.
Play under the supervision of an adult.
If threats against children are detected, report them.
And that's it. A direct quote from the presentation, translated here, is as follows:
>The head of Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana emphasised that it's not about demonizing technology but using it responsibly, hence she encouraged parents to follow the recommendations and reaffirmed that "cybercrime is a reality that presents new challenges in terms of security."
I dunno about you but that sounds reasonable to me.
Over the past few years, Mexico has seen the rise of right-leaning cunts that have tried to emulate /pol/tard bullshit tactics, usually because they are norteños which have always longed to be gringos. They will try to lie and spread disinfo about things to push their own agendas, much like how the online right operates on the US. You should be aware and double check bullshit like OP.
