At the start of the covid nonsense, when the market started trending downward, and then people were taken off of work, lots of ridiculous and short-sighted measures were taken to stabilize things. It was obvious at the time that hyperinflation would result. The extent to which this was 'inflicted' is hard to say, considering how crazy even the people who make those decisions are at this point.
