I've worked for a jewish christian, I admire him a lot, but i've talked about him once and once is more than enough, usually. He carried a bible around in his truck. He wasn't getting paid properly so he couldn't pay me. I wanted to get paid at the end, what he gave me wasn't enough for a place or to eat beyond bread. I bought around 30 xbox 360 games and stayed in a sea container on site with a matress and a tv stand so I could play while laying down, doubling as security, some kids were spraypainting the houses, I shouldn't have taken the offer of the sea container. If not i'd still probably be working for him. I argued with the boss of him, my boss, about him paying my boss but I fucked it up, relented and was too aggressive, like who the hell are you to talk to me kind of thing.
Didn't relay why he was good, but being christian was a good thing for him. He said he was saved by Jesus. So I guess returning the favour. near the end of the job I was lifting truss into position and securing it by myself. All the wall frames we made on site. I am used to steel frames. I enjyed the cladding but lost my wallet after i threw my bag, from hitting my thumb banging nails in.
Work slowed because the houses were near complete and there was nothing for me to do. That got to me. Going from doing things all the time to useless, relegated to picking up rubbish etc.
