There it came, the long awaited notice regarding the package. Seemingly boring after work moments became much more exciting as the dopamine surged inside my veins. And so with newfound power i don't rest and get my bike again.
'Thank god that chink flu didn't fuck it up...' thinking that i pressed on to the post office, both fearing the possible long queue and smiling in anticipation. But as these two thoughts occupied my mind i failed to take a note of one crucial mistake at play, one that would undone current happiness.
And so i arrive to a surprisingly desolate destination.
'This day is getting better and better' I though.
As i enter i greeted with moderate queve that moves rather fast. So far so good indeed. And so, the wait has finally rewarded me with the free spot at the counter.
However...
'Ahh... It's from today...' I hear from the office lady. And then it struck me... Something that should have been obvious to me by now. Packages don't magically appear at the post office after the postman leaves the notice.
'No sorry, it's not here yet'
