>was learning english hard or challenging for you?No, fren. Ever since I was a child I consumed lots of video games, movies in english with portuguese subtitles and also lots of songs in english + english dictionary and also a little bit in school, but I basically learned by myself. My father was also a english teacher, but he never sat down with me and teached me, he just clarified some questions I had.
>i think i'm going to learn portuguese. it doesn't really look like too much of a challenge, i must sayIt is kind of a hard language to learn, fren, don't underestimate. Even when a brazilian born person talks it is full of errors LOL! But this varies from region to region. It can be hard for you to learn some plurals, pronunciations, gender of things (a male dog = cachorrO, female dog = cachorrA), indian names of places, words with tilde (Maranhão, for example), etc. You can start with Duolinguo, once you feel more comfortable, maybe you can try those websites that you talk with foreign people to learn their language, maybe you meet the love of your life, who knows? Hehe...
