The solution would be to become a sincere person comfortable with your own thoughts and to have your own ideas, but it's pretty unusual for teenagers to have such wisdom.
So the bandaid for the brain to tolerate such things is to have a narrow and always publicly ironic persona that has no likes or dislikes so that you can project any image you want of yourself, although it will always be a lie. I really don't envy today's teenagers that need to navigate all this confusion.
