How the fuck do Japanese write? Instead of having one set of characters they have 2 because mysterious reasons and the 3rd because they love Chinese cocks I suppose, and they use them all at the same time.

hiraganas and katakanas are basically just alphabets
kanji is just words formed from hiragana/katakana except unlike english the word when written out doesnt actually look like the letters

山 and やま both mean the same thing (mountain) and are pronounced the same way (yama) but the first one is the kanji for mountain and the second is in hiragana

kanji isn't really an alphabet tbqh its more like a dictionary where each word is a single symbol. and anyway, a lot of things just use hiragana, since you can write out the kanji phonetically, and katakana is mainly used for foreign words.
for example, in animal crossing, kanji is sometimes used in dialog, but it's always got a phonetic translation to hiragana directly above it

it does if you realize kanji isn't made for japanese. it's made for chinese. hiragana and katakana were create to supplement it.

i think the japanese should do what the koreans did and create a new fucking alphabet(hangeul). drop kanji altogether

This is another thing I've noticed

It's more like you can come up with a word that refers to a specific thing, rather than just describing it directly.

I never tried to learn Japanese, but when I learned what "komorebi" meant, I realized it was a word I couldn't say in English, but was glad there was a word for it in some language.
