go to a college bar on a college night, buy drinks for girls you find attractive (early in the night) and if they seem to feel you, keep a decent convo and innuendo going til sex happens later....or... buy drinks for drunk girls who are dancing (during middle of the night-ish), but make sure they are not hard shots or they will be to wasted by nights end, lemondrop shots are good.... or... tell drunk but not fully wasted girls you have more booze at home (end of the night)... these strategies work if you are not totally socially inept.

I'm "in shape" (thin and healthy) but not "in shape" (muscular).
On social skills, I can hold a conversation fine, but I can't start one. Call it low confidence, anxiety, avpd, whatever, I just can't walk up to a random stranger and start talking to them. I feel like I'd just be annoying them and don't want to deal with the rejection/embarrassment.

Unironically lifting fixed this for me, women are way more likely to approach you/admire you and as a result it boosts your confidence enough to talk to them without autism. Also, being skinny isn't good because skinny guys tend to be seen as less trustworthy although it's not as bad as being fat. Try out lifting and once you gain some serious mass trust me you will see a bug difference in interactions with women. Check out /fit/ mire threads as an example of the type of stuff that indicates you're going in the right direction

That's your problem, you have no social skills. Yeah it sucks and it shouldn't be that way, but alcohol is a social lubricant that 90% of people will use, even in tiny ammounts. But the issue is you being intolerant about this. As anon said, you can do it, but its ultra hard mode. Most probably you'll end up with an amish girl. How to remedy your problem?
