first of all, its not. they don't "just slow it down", they do allot more things to it suck as adding effects, chopping the song and rearranging it to taste, adding a different drum over it, adding a bass to it, ect.
they basically make a song out of a song, just like on plunderphonics. the difference is that vaporwave's source material tends to be obscure 80s music.
and secondly, even if it was "just slowed down music" I wouldn't care sense what I like about vaporwave is the feelings it gives me, not how it was made
