This happens regularly in my case. Not sure if its the device or some malicious program infecting it, but it happens far too often for me not to notice.
Occasionally it will only subtract a letter, especially when it can make a plural term a singular term.
It's annoying at any rate, whatever is causing it... I'm not sure.
