Vtubers avatars are the worst most soulless thing anime drawing style has ever been turned into. The worst part is perhaps how the flat drawing is projected onto a surface moving in 3d space. Even plain CGI would do a much better job, see VRchat avatars.Of course nothing would match 2d frame by frame animation though (countless other reasons why vtubers are cringe ommitted)
