the spell system, the plot itself, lore (books, guild backstories etc. all intertwining and having actually interesting stories behind them), and even the artwork blow any other TES game out of the water.
Only thing it lacked was proc-gen dungeons but even then the layout of vvardenfell more than made up for it.
