Many of them post generic pictures of anime girls, almost always from extremely popular early or mid 2010s anime, and quite often with Tumblr file names. Many of these transgender people don't really come off as gay at all. They like girls, and believe that they should be girls because they like girls.
The ones who are willing to have sex with men do it because they know no woman will ever like them and that they might have a better chance as a submissive sex partner for a man than as a female's couple.
They don't really give off the funny and randumb aura that old 4chan posts did.

Notice that when they post manga panels, they're almost always from trap-themed h-manga.
