I just talked to the mods and I have found out why /qa/ is under maintenance. The board had a strange bug where duplicate posts would randomly find their way into threads. These posts were almost identical to the original posts. The only difference was that the text was green and there were nonsense black and white images instead of what the original poster posted. If you look hard, some of these images look as if they are corrupted versions of real images. This bug is present in many of the boards but it affected /qa/ the worst.This severely diminished the board quality, and as a result they have closed it down until the bug is fixed. This is an example of one of the duplicate posts.
