You see, I am a man without any close friendships or a lover. What I've done is that I've escaped to daydreaming. But it's not disconnected thoughts. You see, in my head I've meticulously crafted a world where I and my furry wife live a happy life of adventure and love. It's a continuous story. Each time I have to stop, I get right to where I left off once I return. I do this when doing menial tasks such or just commuting or going to sleep. I want to find others who do this, just have some chats. I had a tulpa, once. She did not love me and stopped talking to me after a while. She is only a memory now.
