If that is true then my guess would be that he "saves" us from this fake crysis that he made and people would be DECIEVED (which is the devils greatest skill + Bible told us not to do that).
I guess in that case the mark of the beast would be some sort of material gain we would have to swear an oath to get. Something "too good to be true". The Bible does warn you to never swear an oath ( for its gods throne). This way you would show your loyalty to materialism instead of God.
Right hand and forehead are also used as "thinking and doing" in the Bible so it would align with this theory.
