When and why did wojack or "feels guy" go from being a character used to express ones own feelings (tfw no gf, etc) to an easily shoopable blank slate to depict your opponent in a discussion or someone you personally don't like?
It's similar but also the opposite of what happened to the chad meme. Chad went from being an asshole who bullies robots and gets all the girls to being a self insert meme for winning """""debates""""" online.

I know that it has been like this for years, and at this point both of them have moved towards the post irony category but I get the feeling that isn't a coincidence.
